Product Registration

We have reproduced our warranties below for your convenience. If you are the original owner and need to request replacement parts for products under warranty, please send us a request through our Support Request form or call us at (800) 783-0087. To purchase replacements parts directly, please search parts on product search.

Freedom Warranty

All Freedom Cases are warranted for five (5) years to the original owner against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Any defects in workmanship will be covered by SKB. Damages due to accident, improper care, negligence or normal wear, where SKB is not at fault are not covered. Freight cost to SKB Corporation is the responsibility of the customer. SKB will pay the return freight for warranty product shipped back to the customer.

Lifetime Warranty

SKB-branded hardshell cases are fully warranted against defects in materials and craftsmanship for the life of the case to the original owner. That means if your case breaks, SKB will supply replacement parts, repair the case, or replace your case for as long as you own it (Please note: in some instances, certain components are no longer available for discontinued/redesigned models). Proof of Purchase is required for all warranty claims. SKB is not responsible for the shipping cost of the case to our facility; however, SKB will cover all of the costs of repairs and/or replacements, as well as the return shipping. To request a return authorization for a warranty claim or field replaceable parts, please contact our customer service department through our online Support Request form.

SKB-branded hardshell cases are warranted for life to the original owner only. Cases that have been modified, previously owned, or used for rental purposes by institutions or schools are not covered by this warranty.

Electronic components in SKB brand hardshell pedalboard systems are warranted for five years from date of purchase. Soft cases and gig bags are warranted for one year from date of purchase. Foam is not covered by SKB's warranty.

OEM-Branded Warranties

SKB makes branded hardshell cases for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) including guitar cases, photo cases, video cases, and lighting cases. Warranties are the purview of the OEM companies, and any warranty issues or claims are to be addressed by the OEM companies at their discretion as they are not covered by SKB’s lifetime warranty.

Pedalboard Warranty

SKB Pedalboard Products are fully warranted against defects in materials and craftsmanship to the original owner of the pedalboard by the SKB Million Mile Guaranty on the case, and include a five year warranty on all included electronics. This means, if your pedalboard case ever breaks or the electronics fail within five years, SKB will repair or replace it at no cost to you. To request parts or a return authorization for damaged pedalboards, please contact our customer service department at (800) 410-2024. Pedalboards for rental purposes, modified or re-sold pedalboards are not covered by this warranty.

Freight cost to SKB Corporation is the responsibility of the customer. SKB will pay the return freight for warranty product shipped back to the customer.

Soft Product Warranty

SKB Soft Products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and craftsmanship for one year from purchase. Any defects in workmanship will be covered by SKB. Damages due to accident, improper care, negligence or normal wear, where SKB is not at fault, are not covered on Soft Products.

Freight cost to SKB Corporation is the responsibility of the customer. SKB will pay the return freight for warranty product shipped back to the customer.

$1500 Content Coverage Warranty

On selected SKB Sports products only, SKB will cover up to $1500 to repair or replace equipment damaged by a commercial airline carrier while secured in one of our ATA-rated cases. If your gear has been damaged on a flight, first file a claim with the airline (SKB recommends keeping copies of all documents related to your claim and taking pictures of damages whenever possible).

Once the claim has been settled, submit it and related documents to SKB for review. SKB may provide up to $1500 to cover any outstanding cost above the airline's claim amount. For more information on this warranty program, please contact our customer service department at (800) 654-5992.
