Previously manufactured exclusively for Fender Corporation, the popular Precision / Jazz bass case is now available only from SKB. The 1SKB-44PRO Rectangular Electric Bass case accommodates P and J styled guitars, with a rigid EPS, plush lined insert for a secure fit to the body and proper neck support.  A large accessory compartment for picks, strings or a slide is also included.

Manufactured at SKB's Mexico factory, the 1SKB-44PRO is vacuum formed of durable lightweight ABS plastic with molded in stacking ribs for added strength and durability. The case include the same patented fiberglass reinforced TSA locking Trigger Latch® System found on the popular i-Series injection molded flight cases.  A comfortable rubber over-molded cushion grip handle is placed in the perfect location for balanced transport.

The iSeries 5014-OP Open Cavity Electric Bass case accommodates a wider variety of body shapes, and features a plush platinum interior that provides total neck support and protection on all sides.

SKB iSeries Injection Molded Mil-Standard Waterproof Cases are molded of ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasket-sealed, water and dust tight, submersible design (MIL-STD 810H) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. Standard features include a molded-in hinge, Trigger Latch® System, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD 810H), and resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact damage (MIL-STD 810H).

Body Length listed is a "strap button to strap button" type measurement. From the end of the neck channel in the case to the end of the case the measurement is 18".

The iSeries 5014-44 accommodates Precision and Jazz style bass guitars, with a platinum plush interior that provides total neck support and protection on all sides.

The1SKB-GB44 Bass Gig Bag will fit most Jazz/P-style basses. Constructed of durable ballistic nylon with dual heavy-duty dual zippers with SKB pull tabs. Includes a three tiered accessory pouch  on the front large enough for cables, straps or other essentials. 

There is also an inner compartment for pens, picks and other small items.  An adjustable, padded shoulder strap is included  for hands free transport or can be easily removed if necessary.

The interior is a padded soft nylon with reinforced ballistic nylon patches in the headstock and bridge area to protect from sharp string ends. The Gig Bag is covered by SKB's Soft Product Warranty.

SKB Soft Guitar Cases feature a rugged, weather resistant 600 Denier ballistic nylon exterior with a hard-core EPS foam interior to provide more substantial protection than a conventional gig bag.

The exteriors feature two zippered pouches, one with numerous internal compartments for organized accessory storage, and an adjustable padded backpack strap for easy transport. The hard foam interiors are plush-lined and offer full neck support to cradle the guitar neck more securely than a conventional bag.

Recent global developments have given rise to many concerns for airline travelers, especially for the emotional attachment to the cargo of the traveling musician.

SKB's engineering team has addressed these travel issues with a bold innovated design, and futuristic molding techniques. The 1SKB-44RW ATA Electric Bass Case has been re-designed to accommodate a secure closure with the new TSA recognized strap closure to meet the needs of the traveling musician.  This is designed to work the majority of standard gig bags such as the SKB 1SKB-GB44.

The 1SKB-FB-4 case will fit Precision and Jazz style basses, offering the ultimate in protection with SKB's famous molded-in bumpers, molded-in feet, a rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, and a fully plush lined EPS molded interior with an oversized compartment that will accommodate accessories.
