Chief Operating Officer
With a BSc degree in Aviation Management and a former Airline Transport Pilot, Robert joined SKB in 1995 as a part-time pilot. In 2002 Robert accepted a full-time position as SKB’s Manufacturing Plant Manager, Rotational Molding. Progressing through the ranks Robert is now responsible for overall corporate operations including Sales & Marketing, Domestic and International Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics, Product Development, Engineering & Research, and Facilities Engineering. Outside of work Robert enjoys cycling, cars, boats, airplanes, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Division Sales Manager
Juana’s background is in accounting, working through college in various positions of sales and marketing. She joined SKB in 1989 starting in the accounting department and two years later was promoted to the position of Industrial Division Sales Manager. Juana has worked for the SKB Industrial / Commercial Sales Division since 1991 with the expansion to Military sales. Juana states that “I am very proud to have been a part of the development and constant innovation of SKB’s cases.” When Juana is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, loves running outdoors, and she is always eager to travel to new places.
Steven Sanderson has been a pivotal figure in strengthening of the Industrial/Military Customer Service and Sales team at SKB since his arrival in 2007. The youngest son of co-founder Dave Sanderson, Steven developed his management expertise in the retail market for 5 successful years before joining the SKB team. In his free time, Steven enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. He has a passion for ocean wild life, craft beer and loves to support the best soccer team in the world, Manchester United. “Glory Glory Man United!”
Armando started at SKB in 1996 right out of high school on the recommendation of an old friend. He planned to work long enough to pay his way through college and find work in a field related to his Fine Art major. After briefly attending UCLA and later transferring to Riverside Community College and then to the University of California Riverside, a sister school to UCLA, he received his BA in Fine Arts. As time passed, Armando has contributed in many ways to assist the growth and development of the SKB infrastructure with his experience in Production, Logistics and Sales and Marketing.
Outside of work Armando enjoys working on his fine arts projects and any DIY project he can find around the house. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, son and two daughters and supporting his LA teams, the Lakers, Dodgers, UCLA and his English club of choice, West Ham United. His life’s motto is: “It is best to die on one’s feet than live a lifetime on one’s knees. Never give up! Never surrender!”
Rick Vandiver joined the SKB Industrial/Military division in 2015. With over 20 years of experience in sales, management, and operations, Rick is looking forward to helping SKB continue its legacy of excellence by providing exceptional service and support. When not working, Rick enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, surfing, using profanity, and watching hockey (Go Ducks!).
Director of Sales - Eastern United States
Ray joined SKB as Director of Sales – East for the Military/Industrial/Commercial Division in 2013. Ray brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 15 years of outside sales and industry experience, having earned multiple sales awards and merit recognitions from end users, distributors, and manufacturers. Ray has a BSc degree in Business, and graduated with Cum Laude honors from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business where he was also on the Dean's List, and the Theta Chi executive board. In his off time Ray enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, and training dogs for field trial work.
Director of Sales - West Coast
Mike joined the SKB team as Director of Sales - West Coast in September of 2014. Mike brings over 16 years of sales experience in the case industry and has helped orchestrate the growth and success of case sales within the Industrial/Government/Commercial realm. Before going into sales, Mike honorably served our country as a U.S. Marine for 6 years. He was honorably discharged in 1998 and went on to achieve a BS in Business Management.
In his spare time Mike enjoys his weekends with his family and is a devoted cheer Dad for his beautiful daughter. He spends his summers at the river and plays basketball and soccer to stay active year round. Mike is devoted and dedicated to also supporting our Military Veterans and believes in the Marine Corps motto of “Semper Fidelis,” “Always Faithful”!
Director of Sales - Latin America
Fernando joined the SKB Industrial/Military Division in the summer of 2016, and brings over 10 years of experience in developing transport case-related business within the consumer, industrial, military, and government sectors. As SKB’s Director of Sales for Latin America, Fernando looks forward to applying this success and expertise in the expansion of SKB’s brand into new international markets.
A graduate of CSU Fullerton, Fernando holds a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Spanish, as well as an MA in Administrative Leadership. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, attending his boys’ many football and basketball games, traveling, and surfing as often as possible.
